Hamilton started their career at Provost Umphrey Law Firm in 2004, focusing on class actions, mergers, acquisitions, and shareholder derivative litigation. From 2010 to 2013, Lindley worked at Goldfarb LLP as a lawyer, specializing in shareholder dispute litigation and board of director obligations. Hamilton originated and resolved numerous cases, advising and advocating for venture-capital-backed startups and officers in privately held companies.

Most recently, Lindley returned to Neighborly® as the Director of Compliance in 2022, spearheading franchise audits and collections efforts and achieving significant financial improvements and compliance levels across multiple business entities. Hamilton also reorganized the compliance team to enhance efficiency and diligence.

Hamilton Lindley obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Baylor University School of Law from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Baylor University from 1996 to 2000.
